Studio Swade is an Upholstery workshop based in Wood Green, serving N22 and the local area.
From getting a saggy sofa recovered and plumped up, to sensitively repairing and restoring a special family chair I can help. I can make bespoke cushions for unique spaces, upholstered boards and panels add fresh colour and texture to a space.

ABOUT ME
After spending many years as a footwear designer for big brands I became disillusioned and decided to make a change- and re trained in upholstery. I understand colour and material and love helping you choose the perfect material for a project.
I am passionate about making and creating bespoke one off pieces. I believe in reusing and repairing what we have and trying to reduce our impact, upholstery is one way to do that. You can save your sofa from landfill and give your living room a new look at the same time.
HOW IT WORKS
I am a AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishings) trained upholsterer. I work in both modern and traditional upholstery, we can discuss using natural fibres and more sustainable fillings, I can offer help in picking suitable upholstery fabric as needed and guide you in choosing something that will work for you and your home.
